Our fully equipped Ris Marine Sport 850 RIB, size 9 meters, with Steyr marine engine (8 cylinders – 2870 HP), with equipment difficult and up to 2.5 tonnes and with a strong engine is definitely a perfect compromise of weight and strength that guarantees speed and act as necessary, and is ready to respond to any kind of technical issues.
Our team performs interventions at sea such as:
- Help to start the engine
- Exclusion of the rope from propeller
- Towing to the nearest marina
- Introduction of vessels without maneuverability in the marina
- Transportation and Delivery (passengers, engine spare parts or fuel)
- Diver services
Call for help procedure
A call for help in case of serious accidents and very bad weather, when human lives are at stake, must be sent to the state services, which will proceed according to the established rules and procedures and send help as soon as possible. The text below lists all the important numbers that you should have with you during the whole voyage or in your phone book:
195 In case of an accident at sea call 195, free phone number of the National Center for Search and Rescue at Sea (MRCC Rijeka or SAR). If you are making a call from a fixed or mobile network, simply dial 195.
112 Help can be requested through the unique European emergency number 112 (112 Center operates as a single communication center for all types of emergency situations). You can call 112 at any time of the day or night, regardless of where you are in Croatia. The phone call is free, and you can make it over all mobile and landline networks by simply dialing 112. Your call will be redirected to the National Search and Rescue Center.
VHF channels 16 or 17. In all cases of distress and of unfortunate events the best is to call the nearest Harbor Master's Offices on VHF channels 16, and explain the situation to them. Harbor masters on channel 16 are on duty 24 hours a day.
Most marinas on the Adriatic operate on channel 17.
Tip:
Try to make your call for help to any service calmly and precisely. Tell the operator as precisely as possible where you are (read your position from the GPS or navigational charts) and simply explain your problem and why are you calling for:
- sinking
- Fire
- penetration of the sea
- stranding
- collision
- disabilities to sail (engine failure, rudder, mast rupture, loss of fuel ...)
- loss of vessels
- medical intervention (emergency transportation, evacuation, medical advice ...)
- buyer, surfers and divers in distress
- any other type of accident at sea
Follow the operator's instructions until the arrival of any of the listed services.
